We are seeking a dedicated Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens role in Asheville, NC. This opportunity allows you to work in a dynamic neurosurgery environment, providing critical care and clinical support to patients.

Job Details

• Location: Asheville, NC
• Duration: 24 weeks 
• Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7am to 7pm, 7 days per week
• Setting: Neurosurgery Unit

Job Requirements

• Valid NC license and NC DEA
• Experience in neurosurgery
• First Assist experience required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant healthcare experience

Responsibilities

• Provide first assist support to surgeons on a PRN basis
• Conduct an average of 12 consults per day
• Support floor call and answer clinical questions
• Manage prescriptions and order entry
• Collaborate with RNs, PCTs, and EEG Techs
