Attention CANAP members,
This is an announcement regarding two elected positions. In 30 days, an electronic ballot for voting will be sent to all members via email. No action is required from you at this time - the purpose of this email is to inform you of the upcoming election and provide information regarding the candidates.
The following two positions are up for election:
  • President-Elect
  • Secretary
There is one candidate currently running for each position. See their information below:
Candidate: Katy Poole
Running for president-elect
Katy Poole graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southern University. After graduation, she moved to Chattanooga, where she began working at Dalton ENT in 2017, a role she continues today. She obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2020. In 2022, she launched her own business focused on fertility consulting. Katy lives in Ooltewah with her husband and two boys and is also an active member of the Junior League of Chattanooga.
Candidate: Tarrah Davis
Running for secretary
I have been a Nurse Practitioner for 5 years with the last 4 being in Family Practice. Prior to that I was a home visiting NP. Collectively, I have over 20 years of experience as a nurse and have worked in several different areas including Med/Surg., Geriatric Psych, SNF, and Home Health and Hospice. I also taught a high school CNA program at my Alma mater, Whitwell High School, and am currently working with Preceptlink as a mentor and preceptor.
